Best cruise line for New Year's cruise?

I have decided I want to celebrate New Year's 2011 on a cruise. What cruise line has the best New Year's Eve celebration? I'm sure many would say Carnival, because they are the "fun ships", and I am not opposed to cruising with them, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

I never know what someone means when they ask for the "best" anything without further description. We've been on both Crystal and Silversea for New Year's Eve. Both have a celebration with decorations, live music, dancing, great food, champagne and a party atmosphere.

 

Are you looking for a party that goes on until dawn? a party with unlimited complimentary alcohol? a party with lots of singles looking to connect? a party with dancing that lasts for hours? a party where the gentlemen are in black tie? or a party when the guys are in T-shirts? a sophisticated crowd? or a frat crowd?

 

Describe the demographic and experience you want on New Year's Eve and that will lead to the cruise line that's "best" for you.
