has anyone had any experience with this set. I asked this question on the snorkeling board but no answers yet. I need to get them ordered soon so we have them on time to set sail. We are not looking for top of the line gear just something descent and leak proof and most important our own!!!

I bought this set at a sporting goods store and it works great. Its been used numerous times and have had no problems.

Good to hear. I know they are far from top of the line but for our 1-2 hour beach stops I think they might be a good starting spot. I wish I could afford the total dry snorkel and such but now its not in the budget. Plus we are buying for 4. I figure I can upgrade as we see fit if these dont hold up. You have to start somewhere right????

My DH scuba dives with a US divers mask. Seems to work great.

Exactly, these are perfect for the beach stops. We have used them on 2 cruises so far and soon to be 3 and they are still intact. You cannot beat having your own gear. I am all set with putting a snorkel in my mouth that only God knows how many people had in theirs. YUCK!
