PotatoBug Posted January 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2010 We're planning to snuba (a close decision over the BOSS excursion) when we're at St Thomas, but there's a choice of doing it in St Thomas or St John. Is it really worth the hassle to get to (and from) St John to do it there? Thanks!
tkbloomfield Posted January 6, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2010 We are doing the snuba in St. Thomas. We booked thru VISnuba and they were WONDERFUL to deal with! Not sure if they do St. John as well but looking at there pics, I am confident that St . Thomas will be a great choice. Good luck and give them a ring.... PotatoBug Posted January 6, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted January 6, 2010 It's the same company that runs snuba on St Thomas and St John. They even have detailed instructions on their website about how to get to St John (two taxis and one ferry). I'm just not sure we want to spend the extra time and money to get to and from St John. PotatoBug Posted January 7, 2010 Author #4 Share Posted January 7, 2010 I communicated with the tour operators and they suggested staying on St Thomas because there can be rough seas in St John in January.
