m0915 Posted January 7, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2010 Does anyone know if your Harrahs Total Rewards card is accepted on board and you get points for use in the casino? Thanks
Venus4NU Posted January 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2010 No, you won't get points on your card. You will get a casino at seas card. The only thing Harrah's will get you is 10% of some cruises when you booked and a free drink card. I've done this 5 times now being a diamond member. slotaddict Posted January 7, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2010 I thought diamond members got 20% off...
cruzndiz Posted January 7, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2010 You do....but remember it's 20% off just the cruise fare........not the taxes, port fees, etc. I thought I had been short changed on my discount until I figured that out:p
Venus4NU Posted January 7, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2010 It varies from cruise to cruise. On the sky it was a better deal for me to use my diamond status instead of the 17% CAS discount, on my cruise in 2 weeks it was cheaper to use my lattitues discount, on my cruise in March they offered no discount for diamond and lattitudes so I booked with CAS, on my 7 day cruise on the Pearl in November the 17% with CAS was better than the diamond. From what they told me the other day, the diamond discount is off of the 'published' price but often their advertised price on their website is already cheaper than what the diamond would get you. I always check all three: diamond, lattitudes and CAS. I do not find one consistantly cheaper than the other. THey have been all over the board.
