Help needed tours on Avalon Amsterdam/Budapest

Helping a friend with information on her upcoming river cruise. She's on the Amsterdam to Budapest cruise in May. Is there a choice in tours or is it do things on your own or do what the tour of the day is? Does anyone have information on some tours they felt are not to be missed. Thanks, to anyone that can offer some information.

Maybe I should ask a different way. My friend knows that there's a basic tour but she'd telling me there was different options. She was just curious how things work. Hopefully someone will help with how things are handled on a river cruise.

Possibly if you could list the city and the optional tours you might find someone who can offer something that would be of assistance. As the question is posed it is too broad to begin to address.

:) Couldn't remember the port thanks to anan as I had brain freeze. I was hoping someone that had taken this cruise before would understand what I was referring to. I was going on this cruise, but things didn't work out for me.

Maybe now if anyone else has perhaps anything else they can add. That would be great.
