First time to this port and just want to see the town and sit by the beach?

Can we just take a cab from Coxen pier? How much would that be? Not wanting to do an excursion, but would appreciate any suggestions.

Yes a cab or a bus . Cheap and a short ride. Can catch either right at the port.

Coxen Hole is in Roatan. If you are going there you can walk to the town but would need a cab to the beach at West End. For Costa Maya the previous posts for going to Mahahual say it all.
