Cucumber Beach? Any feedback?

We have been to Belize twice with our children and are looking for something different to do. We have done the cave tubing with a zoo visit and Bacab before. We are really at a lost for what to do this time. We are considering Cucumber Beach. Can anyone tell us:

1. Is it crowded? Is it clean?

2. Is it safe? There is a waterslide and zip line but I can't tell from the pictures if it is safe?

3. Would children ages 9 - 16 like it?

4. How far from the terminal is it?

Thanks.

PS Any other unique ideas or activities for families that haven't been mentioned a lot on the boards?

I wen't to Cucumber Beach last year in Belize and I wasn't impressed. The slide is ok, but the beach is a man-made concrete resovoir, not an actual beach. The zip line is small, but maybe fun for younger children. There is a bar with cheap drinks, but I wouldn't go back....
