jessemon Posted January 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2010 hope all is well! Bummer on your shortend cruise. But safety first! Cruise is not shortened tomorrow this is one of their regular ports of call. I always feel bad when there is a medical emergency on board.
aj3u Posted January 12, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted January 12, 2010 Not shortened at all. We are arriving early and the ship is going at top speed which means a lot of shaking, rocking, and rolling... :D Not too bad though. Some guests were wondering if it means we can get off the ship tonight when it docks or do we have to wait until the previously scheduled 7AM time. I guess time will tell. jetwet1 Posted January 12, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 12, 2010 I would be surprised if it sailed at full speed all the way to the port, just get close enough for a coast guard copter to get there then airlift the person. Then sail around in circles till the morning when CBP will be there.
