erRN2be Posted January 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2005 I was wondering for those who reserved their trips with Nativeway how long it took to get a response...
erRN2be Posted January 22, 2005 Author #2 Share Posted January 22, 2005 Still waiting for a response regarding the excursion... wondering if anyone else was having this problem or if I should just look elsewhere? Chelle
racegrrl Posted January 22, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2005 Well, I emailed them Wednesday night and had a response Thursday afternoon. No complaints here! Haven't used them yet, not till Monday, so I can't tell you anything else about them until after we get back. Good luck! :)
UK_Mike Posted January 22, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 22, 2005 We are leaving in 3 weeks and are hoping the same, the bad part is that I am only now starting to find out about all this "tour on your own" stuff. Do you think that I will receive a reply by next week???
EXBRIT Posted January 22, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2005 I would send them another email. something must of happened to your first one.
erRN2be Posted January 22, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted January 22, 2005 I attempted to reach them over one week through email and I finally just called them direct today. I reserved my spot and was told that I would recieve a confirmation some time today.
zydecocruiser Posted January 23, 2005 #7 Share Posted January 23, 2005 Could spam filters be the culprit? Often if I am expecting email and it never shows, sometimes I find i has been flagged as spam. Just curious.
erRN2be Posted January 23, 2005 Author #8 Share Posted January 23, 2005 I thought of the spam thing. However, the emails are not there. So I am unsure if Sharon is getting them, however, others are recieving replies. I also spoke with Sharon today to reserve a spot and she stated that I would have a confirmation letter today. I have not recieved one. I turned off my spam filter and reemailed her just in case, but no response as of yet. :(
zydecocruiser Posted January 23, 2005 #9 Share Posted January 23, 2005 Most curious. I always receive timely replies from Sharon but have never booked with Nativeway. However their schedule is best for my next cruise so I just sent off a reservation request. I would expect to hear back within the next day of two. erRN2be Posted January 23, 2005 Author #10 Share Posted January 23, 2005 I did just hear back from Sharon. No reponse as to what the delay was. :( The price has gone up $5 per person since I spoke with her in September. But still not a bad price. asrubin Posted January 23, 2005 #11 Share Posted January 23, 2005 I am thinking about booking Nativeway for my cruise in March. Can you tell me if they charge your credit card when you make the reservation, or do they wait and charge it when you get there? My hesitation is that we are on the Rhapsody and so far, the ship has not been able to go back to Grand Cayman. However, according to the Cayman Pier schedule, the Rhapsody is supposed to be there when I cruise. I just want to make sure I don't get charged in case the ship ends up not going. erRN2be Posted January 23, 2005 Author #12 Share Posted January 23, 2005 asrubin: they do not charge your cc. you pay the full amount when you arrive at the boat. The cc is just to hold your spot so that you will not be a no show, and Sharon reassures you that if your ship does not come into port for any reason you will not be charged at all.
