orquidia Posted January 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2010 It was not felt in Puerto Rico, i did not feel it and the puerto rican press reports no damage or anyone feeling it ( http://www.primerahora.com/diario/noticia/otras/noticias/no_se_reportan_temblores_en_puerto_rico_tras_terremoto_en_haiti/357222 ) we get small shakes from time to time because we are located very near a fault line which is located above the north coast in the atlantic ocean, Puerto Rico was hit by an earthquake in 1918, a 7.5 one, so yes, we are located in an active earthquake zone, last couple of years i have felt a couple of shakes near 4.0 but they have caused no damage at all.
