Cruiser83 Posted January 16, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2010 Researching a February cruise stop in PV. Has anybody done the Canopy/ATV combo? We think the canopy tour looks like a blast, has anybody done the Botanical Gardens ATV tour? What is the terrain like and would it be worth the extra money or should we just do the Canopy tour.... Beth & Rob Posted January 17, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2010 I booked Los Veranos for just the zipline for our trip in March. There are so many positive reviews on these boards about this company, plus I know a few folks who've gone. Not a negative review anyplace. Can't go wrong. djmc2002 Posted January 17, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2010 We just returned from PV yesterday and we did the River Canopy (Rio Cauale). We booked with Johnathan and Sandra for 64 each. (http://www.puertovallartatours.net/rio-cuale-canopy-tour.htm) The booking was excellent and so was customer service...send a couple of panic emails from sea about the pickup times as we did not know about the time difference in PV. Got quick replies and also called onces in PV as we ending up going to a different pick up point. Had a GREAT GREAT time. It was breath taking, and much fun, included a mule ride out of the bottom of the canyon after the 12 zip lines. We booked for the the 12:00 (ships time) tour with a pick up time at the Disco Collage for 11:20) and we were back to the ship at 4:15 (ship time). My concern with the ATV thing would be time. Unless you are off the ship when the gang plank drops it could be very rushed to do both the zips on the ATV. We arrived at 9:00 (ships time) and sailed at 5:00 ships time). We would have been very rushed to get off the ship be to the pick up point by anything sooner than 10:20 and we did not get back to the ship with much time to spare so combo both into one day might make everything much shorter unless the atv ride is how you get out of the bottom of the canyon instead of mules) What ever you do you should love it. We did!
