Los Veranos Tour in Puerto Vallarta with 7 Year Old - What Else To Do?

My wife, 7 year old daughter, and I are planning on doing the Los Veranos Canopy Tour in Puerto Vallarta in July 2010. Our land time in PV is from 9 AM to 10 PM, so we have 13 hours to enjoy. This is our first cruise, so what else besides the 3.5 hours in Los Veranos can we do as a family? Any other suggestions for a family in Puerto Vallarta or should we just stick to one excursion in PV? Thanks in advance.

Including transportation to/from Los Veranos I think you will need a little more time.

At Los veranos you can stay longer and enjoy the scenery/river etc.

Or you can get off on the way back at their office. That is not too far from Old Town PV. Walk to Playas Los Muertos, have a (late) lunch/drinks at one of the restaurants at the beach, walk Malecon and see all the lovely statues.

Back either take a cab of one of the city-buses (now Pesos 6,5 p.p.) to the cruise-terminal.
