Mariner of the Seas

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I just cruised with Princess which was one of the best vacations I have ever been on. When looking for another "megaliner" I stumbled acrossed Mariner of the Seas, RCL's 142,000 ton megaliner. I am afraid to cruise with anyone but Princess because I enjoyed it so much, but I am willing to cruise this ship...can someone please tell me about this ship. Did you enjoy it? How was the service? The food okay? Were the rooms a nice size? Anything you can tell me would be nice...thanks!!!

Mindy

We have cruised several times with Princess and RCL and both are great. We enjoy Princess for the dining choices and enjoyed the Mariner for all of the great choices as far as entertainment and fun things to do.

You won't be disappointed!

Wow, those are some wonderful pictures you have. I noticed in the one picture of the pool it seemed to be crowded, did it really feel crowded like that? The only difference I see in this ship and the Caribbean Princess is the CP had 6 pools, whereas this one has 3.

Note the link to our review below. Mariner and Navigator are the same ship except for decor and are almost identical to the other three Voyager class ships, Voyager, Explorer and Adventure.

Note you will not find an ice rink and ice show, rock wall, such a well designed dining room and buffet restaurant, full basketball court, and anything like the Promenade on a Princess ship.

Try RC, you'll like it.

Also on the Voyager class ships, one pool, the solarium, is only for adults.
