Re-entry to the US after Bahamas cruise for a person on multiple entry US visa

Hi,

I am an Indian citizen residing in US on a multiple-entry L1 visa. We are going on a Bahamas cruise. We have got the Bahamas visa done for the same.

Questions regarding re-entry to the US. Is there anything that we would need for re-entry into the US other than the stamped passport and petition papers? Will we need to get a fresh I-94 on re-entry?

Don't want to take any chances with this - critical concern.

Thanks,

Vivek

All you need is your passport with the I-94 stapled inside, and the rest of your paperwork in case they ask for it. They will not give you a new I-94, the old one should stay in your passport. Make sure no one removes it when you are getting on the cruise.

I was also on an L1 visa, and left the country and returned multiple times, including one cruise. It is not a big issue as long as you have your paperwork at hand, and answers straight. We recently received our green cards, and when returning from a trip to Canada, that is when the immigration officer removed the multiple entry I-94. Until then, it was looked at, but never touched.

Enjoy your cruise.
