The Welsh Man Posted January 24, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2010 Have I got it right that Arcadia and Oriana are transiting the Panama Canal Today? (24/01/10) Nothing on the webcams as yet as it’s still dark. Has anybody got any idea if we will be able to see either or both of them on the Panama Canal webcam? And if so what time(s)? I've attached the link to the canal's webcams; hope this is ok with the moderators. http://www.pancanal.com/eng/photo/camera-java.html?cam=MirafloresHi We're on our Oceana on E004 transiting on the 26th February, getting pretty excited about it! Anybody with any advice on what not to miss? Thanks as always Carl
The Welsh Man Posted January 24, 2010 Author #2 Share Posted January 24, 2010 I think I'm right in saying that the ships enter through the Gatun Locks when arriving from the Caribbean. If I'm wrong please let me know Carl

Johnthed0g Posted January 24, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2010 If you look on the main P&O site, select Oriana from "Ships," then webcam you will see all the passengers watching the approach.

Petrochelli Posted January 24, 2010 #9 Share Posted January 24, 2010 The Arcadia is just about to enter the Gatun locks and the Oriana is just behind her this could be a unique occassion two P&O liners in the same lock at the same time. To see the both of them together go to Pancanal.com and hit the Gatun lock high resolution webcam this will take a few minutes to load after it comes up hit the zoom this will also take some time to load as it seems to rather busy today. Cheers Petrochelli.

tom_uk Posted January 25, 2010 #14 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Someone on another cruise website captured a number of good images; I grabbed a couple of them and stuck them in my blog, along with a link to the complete set of images. Here's the link to my blog. Also, James Cusick's blog covers the transit very well, with some good images.
