WeBeGone Posted January 25, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Smoking is allowed in cabins, on balconies, in the casino (although there is usually one no smoking night), in the bars and lounges, and in designated areas on deck. On Princess, the only place we've ever experienced an abundance of smoke was in the casino, especially in the area beside the cigar bar. There is no smoking in the dining rooms, buffet, theater and main atrium.
RickEk Posted January 25, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2010 does anyone know if the Caribe Princess allows smoking in the lounges, etc, Carnival was horrible, seemed like smoking was allowed in all the lounges, nightclubs, etc. Royal is really good about keeping the air clean The short answer is NO. Smoking inside the ship is only allowed in the casino and a designated smoking room like Churchill's on the Island/Coral Princess. No smoking in lounges, showrooms or nightclubs. There is a designated side of the pool deck that allows smoking. That rule may or may not be enforced. Folks can also smoke in their cabin and balcony. Oh, and I assume you're talking about the Caribbean Princess?
Asil65 Posted January 25, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Been on 3 Princess cruises and every Casino was really smoky. I would have to leave from time to time for some fresh air. I never seemed to figure out when the non smoking time was scheduled in the Casino. If you like to gamble I would suggest going on a non smoking night. Otherwise I found the ship to be really great smokewise.
