What type of tenders

I know that in Belize the ships use tenders to get to Belize City. Are the tenders from the ship (we will be on the Glory) or does Carnival use contracted larger tenders? I am aware that the tendering takes about 20 minutes.

Thanks for any help.

They are all different size tenders. Most are larger with two decks of seating, some are smaller where all seating is enclosed. One things for certain is they can go fast. I think they are contracted through the port, as we have used the same tenders no matter which cruise line we arrive with.
