Downtown Charlotte A to Havensight Mall

Is it possible to walk and how long of a walk is it from downtown Charlotte Amalie to Havensight Mall/Paradise Point? Just wondering if it's do-able. Our ship will be at Crown Bay Pier and we plan to take a taxi to downtown and possibly then on to Havensight.

Is it possible to walk and how long of a walk is it from downtown Charlotte Amalie to Havensight Mall/Paradise Point? Just wondering if it's do-able. Our ship will be at Crown Bay Pier and we plan to take a taxi to downtown and possibly then on to Havensight.

 

I was there last week and it is a 45 minute walk between downtown and Havensight. There are lots of taxis available though.

Can you walk from downtown to Havensight, yes you can. But it's a long wlk, especially on a hot day.

 

Walk along the waterfront towards the cruise ships at Havensight. Once you get to Yacht Haven Grande you can "cut through" there instead of walking all the way around. YHG will connect with Havensight. Total distance about a mile and half. Taxi will only be a few dollars person. If you hop on taxi going back to a ship there they will most likely drive into Havensight and drop you off with the rest of the passengers by the dock, then it's a short ( few hundred yards) walk back to the shops.
