How long does it take you to get to the pier shopping of local crafts once you get off the ship? I'm going to have limited time before and after my tour and I don't know if I'll have time to quickly look for crafts. I've heard of molas and painted feathers to look for.

There is a craft market right on the pier. You walk right through it when you exit and enter the pier.

Parrotplay is right - the shopping is right there. Word of advise is to glance through the place quickly first before purchasing. I found better painted feather deals further back. Also you can do some bargaining.
