Family of 5 at Atlantis?

Any tips/suggestions for taking a family of five to Atlantis? Looking at the Aquaventure excursion through DCL and it is pretty steep. We only have one that would be considered a "child." Looking at the Comfort Suites website -- we'd have to get two rooms. Still better than the DCL prices, but wondering if anyone has other ideas or if this one is even worth it?

 

This is our first cruise -- so I'd even thought of just a quick walking tour of Nassau and back to explore more on the ship?
