trenieyvo Posted January 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Has anyone stayed at the Econo Lodge and can you give me some idea how it was? Was it clean? Were there other restaurants by it besides seafood? My friend who is travelling with me can't stand seafood restaurants. How much did a taxi cost to get to the cruise port? Is it close to the bus station? We are travelling by bus to get there from Tulsa, OK.

There are other restaurants near... by taxi. A breakfast dive is across street. BBQ (Queens) 3 blocks, Greek (Olympia) on Seawall and another on Port, Mexican (Original), American (Millers), Italian (Dibella's), Oriental, (Saltgrass) Steaks and American. (Mosquito) Veggitarian with west coast flair. (Sunflower Bakery) Great Bakery and American. Bus stops about a mile and half away on Broadway. Port Terminal is about 2 miles away. Cost I don't know. I live here.
trenieyvo Posted January 31, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted January 31, 2010 I went to TripAdvisor and the reviews were terrible. I think we have decided to go with Gaido's Seaside Inn. We still have a while yet to decide. We're not going till DECEMBER 12TH. Thank you for the information
ssb Posted January 31, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2010 I went to TripAdvisor and the reviews were terrible. I think we have decided to go with Gaido's Seaside Inn. We still have a while yet to decide. We're not going till DECEMBER 12TH. Thank you for the information Gaidos is literally across the street. It is a also a motel and and a place to crash. It is owed be the restaurant family, and more pride put in to management of the motel. It may be a better choice. Some friends and family have stayed there before when visiting, and have not complained. Again it is a also a motel and and a place to crash. There are much nicer hotels but more money. Budget Budget Budget.
