flahagan Posted January 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2010 Going on a 10-nt. S. Carib. cruise April 4 and looking for a fun day of snorkeling, beach, lunch, etc. Will only be able to afford one tour of this type, and am wondering which island would be best. Will be stopping in Barbados, Martinique, St. Lucia ( as well as St. Thomas and St. Maarten). I've been reading all the posts and seem to be more confused than ever. Any suggestions for the best tour of this type on a specific island?

St Lucia has some really good ship sponsored combination catamaran/land tours, but not much snorkeling time. Dive Fair Helen is a first rate independent operator, but little beach time. http://www.divefairhelen.com/cruise_ship_special.htm Snorkeling at St Maarten is poor, but excellent do it yourself beaches. Never been to Martinique.
