private tour

Hi could anyone tell me, can you get off the ship and hire someone to take you on a tour of the island or do you need to book before, does anyone have any reccomendations of where to go. Thanks

We had a very nice private tour in November. We arranged the tour in advance on the internet. The two of us saw most of the key sites in Barbados and had time to do a bit of shopping.

 

We went with a very nice young Bajan, Willie Drayton, who is the son of the owner of the tour company. He had a clean airconditioned van and took us where we wanted to go and also had additional ideas.

Whoops, sorry I posted our experience in Barbados NOT Cayman Is. We have not done a private tour in Cayman we have been too busy shopping there for rum and rum cakes.

We would also like to do this in October. We were just there the beginning of the month & there are lots of guides waiting at the pier with vehicles offering to take you to beaches, turtle farm etc. Am sure you could make a deal with one of them to just drive you around.
