parrothead brian Posted January 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2010 We are planning on staying at the Courtyard conv center in New Orleans(free parking) and was wondering how much for either a taxi or shuttle to the port? A total of 9 freezing pathetic Bears fans on this cruise.
Sargent_Schultz Posted January 31, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2010 Cabs to the port are a fixed price per person even though your hotel isn't far from the port. There is a shuttle that runs from the Fulton St garage. It is supposed to be for people who park there. Not sure if you can sneak your way onto it. 7 people at one time might be a little obvious. Another option might be to shuttle people and luggage in a vehicle, park the vehicle back at Courtyard and then for only 1 or 2 people to pay for a taxi to the port. The front desk person said the hotel is 2 blocks from the pier so I may just shuttle everyone there, drop off luggage and walk back from the hotel. thanks
