Tulip Time with Avalon

Louisana cruiser

Recommended Posts

;)We took this cruise and would advise to be prepared for cool, wet weather then hope for opposite. The trip to see tulips was nice, but a little too long for my husband.I enjoyed it ,but it rained most of time,so/////////////

A far as the REd light tour, either go on your own,or be prepared to be standing out like a sore thumb when you troop by with your guide. We ended up waiting behind and trying to act somewhat normal, considering the area....but an experience...

As far as optional s after Amsterdam,,,, we usually just start with the tour and take off on our own...get a guidebook and figure out what you want to see,,,can always get in with group to museum etc...then take off after.

In all towns watch out for bike lanes, they go by fast and will mow you down if not careful. Any specifics, please ask.....regardless of above tips,,,,sure you will enjoy cruise.....just sort of plan ahead of time for any problems and hope for the best...;)
