I will be traveling with my 2 kids in March on the Dawn. If I ask will they put a third chair on the balcony?

You can certainly ask. They may or may not be able to scrounge one up. The problem will then be where to put it.

Depending on what type of cabin you have, there may not be room for a 3rd chair on the balcony. There certainly wasn't enough room on ours (AB Penthouse).

we have an AF suite. I guess I will check the balcony before asking or like it was suggested move the room chair out.

I believe that the AF mini-suite (aka Deluxe Balcony Cabin) has a larger balcony than the regular Balcony Cabin, so a third chair should be OK.

Bakerintn is correct the AF mini suite balcony is 54 sq feet and a regular balcony cabin is 38 sq feet.

The AF balconies are about the same size as the ones in the ABs. But, they have chairs rather than loungers. So, you could probably get a 3rd one to fit no problem. Enjoy!
