Where does your shipboard credit show up on your paperwork? How does

the cruise know you have a credit? We have $150.00 between us and don't

want to get on board and find out there is a problem.

The shipboard credit should show up on your Travel Documents. In fact on mine here I see that the credit is actually on the Cruise Ticket Coupon 05 (page 5). Hope that helps.

How do you use it? Do you get a seperate card like a credit card or just use your room card and tell the person you're using your credit? Also, can you use it on anything, such as drinks or the casino, or is it limited to certain items? Thanks.

Shipboard credit is placed on your shipboard account (which you charge almost everything to including gratuities). If you get a $100 shipboard credit then it is like starting out with a minus on your account. Anything that can be placed on your cruise card and charged to your account can be used with the shipboard credit. No seperate card for it, everything is cashless cruising now and it is all placed on your cruise card account.

We always look at it as, if we get $200 shipboard credit for a 10 day cruise, then that totally covers the minimum grauities for that cruise so as they add them in, they are deducted from the credit.

Let's not forget the other type of shipboard credit - gifts! For Christmas, I purchased a $100.00 US credit for my husband, and he will find a nice card from Princess on the bed in the cabin when we board. It has been our experience that this type of credit will not appear on your cruise documents, only the gift card and of course, your account statement at the end of the cruise.
