Spa Discounts

I've read in the forums that you shouldnt book your spa treatments ahead of time. To wait until you get on the ship. I'm not familiar with Carnival so how do I find out about the discounts? Are they usually always on port days?

I'd like to do a couples massage on my birthday. ;)

Thanks for all info.

They do some daily "specials" that are listed in the Capers - and it will vary from day to day what they are offering. And yes, the best prices are on port days when everyone is ashore - it is a much quieter time on the ship.

Be prepared to pay a lot - like $200 plus - as I recall for a couple's massage. It is more than double land prices. I do not know if you will be in port on your birthday, but many of the ports offer them at their beaches - for a very reasonable price.

Discounts will usually be in the capers and will probably be heavily announced over the cabin speaker  I believe discounts are usually offered on port days and towards the end of the cruise.
