Not a shopper...Was it worth it?

Cruised on the Solstice Jan 10th, LOVED it! But I was wondering about the shopping show put on in in the theatre...........a group of us went and all most fell asleep! They got you there by promising lots of goodies and you left with a few coupons to use in the different ports. Has anyone ever purchased one of the "only 75 available - sot after $25 coupons books" that promise you gifts from each port? was it worth it? and how much time did you spend in each port searching for your free stuff?? thanks......not a shopper

The port shopping shows are pure ans simple paid advertising. No store ever gets mentioned without paying an advertising/marketing fee to Celebrity and you can bet they paid Celebrity cash money to get their coupon in the book which in turn Celebrity is trying to sell to you.

Likewise for the "port shopping guides" no one gets listed for free and the "recommendations" are not earned - they are purchased.
