Royal Caribbean Stocks/ Diamond Members

If we get money off our cabin because we are Diamond members are we still able to apply for OBC because we have Royal Caribbean stocks. I'm confused...so what else is new ~~~~:eek:

I just tried that last week. They will not combine the OBC's.

One or the other and the OBC for the balcony cabin was more that the stock credit would have been.

Royal Caribbean will only allow you to have ONE thing that they offer. Take your pick. (I suggest using whichever is larger. ;))

Wonder if they'll go back to treating the shareholder credit separate from other incentives? I bought some shares last year, but I won't be using the shareholder benefit, because I got a better discount another way.

 

Can't complain too much, though. I bought the stock when it was just under $10/share. But I would like to get that perk and maybe bring back a dividend, too.

They need to pay down their debt - not pay dividends. Resuming the dividend before their balance sheet is more sound would be a disaster!

I didn't say it made sense for them to resume the dividend right now, just that I'd like to get it. They actually suspended the dividend at the end of trading on the day that I bought my shares. (If I'd waited just a little longer, I could have picked them up for $6/share instead of $10.)
