Need help & suggestions regarding Puntarenas tours for 9 year old

We are traveling on Celebrity Infinity in April to Puntarenas. We are looking for a good excursion for me and dh and ds (age 9) who has mild autism. Most of the people we know are doing zip-lining but this is not an option for my ds.

He does really love nature and is a good traveler.

I was thinking about booking an Pacific Aerial Tramway/river cruise combo but then read the aerial tram is not that exciting.

The other thing that looked really interesting is a tour to "Las Palomas" Rehabilitation and Rescue Center and boat excursion.

We are kinda at a loss for a good tour for us. My ds is too young to do many of the more adventurous tours and we have no interest in shopping. Can anyone who has done the wildlife rehab tour recommend it or perhaps another tour?
