moose55d Posted February 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Looking for a selection of cruises to choose from to put together a trip for friends and family this summer. We're all in the central NJ region, and dont want to have to fly down to Florida. Would like a list of all available cruises departing from these areas so I can research them here... Thanks, D Philly is also a possible departure point.;)
trish1c Posted February 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Go to any online travel site & pick NY Ports (all) as your departure point. Then put in your dates & you will get a list.
madelinerose Posted February 2, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2010 There's too many to list and you've provided no criteria. As trish suggested, go to a large travel site and put in NY as your embarkation port. You'll see every cruise leaving from the area. I believe cruises from Philadelphia have ceased. If you choose not to visit any websites, call or visit a brick and mortar travel agency in your area and discuss what you're looking for with a travel agent. ;)
RoofingPrincess Posted February 2, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Royal Caribbean and Celebrity have cruises from Bayonne, NJ. I know Royal has a ship going to the Caribbean year-round. Princess cruises out of Red Hook (Brooklyn) to the Caribbean from May to July. Norwegian and Holland sail from Manhattan. http://www.newyorkcruiseguide.com/ This site has month-by-month calendars of ships leaving NYC/NJ: http://cruisingfromnewyork.com/
smeyer418 Posted February 2, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2010 http://www.nycruise.com/documents/AM-00229CruiseCalendar2010.pdf has a cruise calender for both Brooklyn and Manhattan and shows the name of the ship and cruise line including some not listed below or above. Besides the lines listed above Cunard leaves from Brooklyn Carnival leaves from Manhattan.
madelinerose Posted February 2, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2010 Thanks to both of you for these links. I honestly didn't even think there may be a one-size-fits-all schedule, even though I know Cruse Maryland has one. Duh.
