T&Dcruisers Posted February 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Hello, We will disembark from the Spirit in March, however we do not fly out of San Diego until 5 PM that day. We would like to tour the Maritime Museum and such, but have no idea what to do with our bags during that time. Does anyone have any experience with this or ideas as to what we could do? Thanks for all of your responses.
Splinter Posted February 3, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Take you bags across the street to the Holiday Inn on the Bay. Give the bellman a nice tip and they will store you bags for you. Tip again when you pick them up and then catch a cab to the airport. Be sure you are at the airport no later than 3:30PM as there can be quite a delay for security in San Diego (not enough stations). You can easily walk to the Maritime Museum, the USS Midway museum, and Seaport Village. Seaport Village or Anthony's are good bets for lunch. T&Dcruisers Posted February 3, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted February 3, 2010 Thanks for the idea, sounds easy enough. I never thought about just checking them in at the closest hotel, didn't think they would do that if we were not guests.

Jiffymom Posted February 4, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2010 I just rented a car from ACE for 9.00 per day. They will pick you up and shuttle you back to airport. Check car rentals.com
