Freedom 6th deck Aft. Cabin ?'s

Just booked 1st cruise! Celebrating 40th bday on the FoS w/ DH. Booked aft cabin on the 6th deck. Having second thoughts about the cabin choice, though! TA highly recommended afts for roomy balconies-love the idea of being able to "lounge" on our own balcony, but not liking the structure & "deck extension" on the 6th deck. So, what I would like to know from some of you that are familiar w/ Freedom class is, how obstructed is the view looking out from 6th deck? I found a pic taken from a side angle & it clearly shows the extension, but not the view from the balcony. I was hoping the view would be great, since the 6th deck has the Presidential suite. If I move off of the aft, any suggestions for cabin w/ a larger deck? $900 more for JR Suite, so that really isn't a possibility, but are the "D" categories' balconies large enough for a lounge chair?
