terryde Posted February 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2010 I am reading on another forum so much great stuff about PDC that I can't wait to get there! But I read that sometimes the port is changed to Cozumel due to weather/wind, and we have been there many times before. Has your PDC port been changed or did you get there? And if you did, any suggestions?
riclop Posted February 3, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2010 It seems that they are always going to cozamel all the time and saying that there is to much wind and rough seas as an excuse. I was on the Jan. 16 cruise.

And if you did, any suggestions? Here's a reply I got from the cruise ending Jan. 23: Howdy Bob. We were scheduled for PDC and about an hour before they announced that we would do Coz instead. Winds and currents make PDC tricky since it is a tender port and Coz is a pier. People on board with Excursions at PDC were ferried across the strait. (Several said that it was VERY rough crossing and many got sea sick) So your excursions will still be okay if you port in Coz. As a side note, this may not be a bad thing. Tendering in Cayman was insane. Although close to the tender port, the sheer number of people wanting to get off in Cayman meant at least a one hour wait in line for a tender.(snip) -Bob
