Group Prices

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know, if I can get the same price for a cabin as other passengers in my group who booked a year ago and now the same cruise has gone up $150:00?

Also does anybody know how the discounts work. Does the group leader get the discounted price off the most cabins sold and minus the port charges etc. How does the discount work? Many thanks.

If there are cabins remaining in the group inventory then yes you should be able to capture the same cruise fares. In general, if the group consists of 8 staterooms (dbl occupancy), (1) free "berth" is earned (cruise fare excluding port charges/taxes). Many times the group leader will take that cruise fare and divide it amongst the other passengers so they too can all benefit from the free "berth" costs. Every group leader does things differently so I would suggest speaking with whoever is in charge of your group to see if there is availability and if they earned a free "berth", how are they handling that free cruise fare.
