formula14 Posted February 4, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2010 Hi! At what time generally are the evening shows in the theater? We have the open dinning option & about to reserve our preffered dining times, but our last (Princess) cruise, we ended up missing most of the shows because we dinned a little late & got to the shows too late to be seated in the theater. This time we want to make sure we take in a couple of shows during our 1st Celebrity cruise. Generally, do the shows start 10ish, 9ish? thanks! We were on the Solstice in January, and IIRC most shows started at 7 and 9:30, but per other posts they can vary. I suggest you contact Celebrity directly to get a complete schedule for your particular cruise, then you can decide.

Lsimon Posted February 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2010 All of the shows are timed around the "normal" early and late dining times. Generally shows for the early diners start around 9PM or a little before and shows for the late diners are split between a 7PM and 11PM starting time. These often vary a little bit, sometimes starting 15 minutes earlier or later.
lblk Posted February 4, 2010 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2010 We were recently on a 9 day cruise on the Mercury and had late dinner seating (8:30 p.m.) We had two formal nights, and the shows on those evenings were at 10:30. All other nights our shows were at 7 p.m.
I&J Cruisers Posted February 4, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 4, 2010 Just got off Solstice shows were 7 and 9 except on formal nights when they were 8 and 11.
firstplacechef Posted February 4, 2010 #7 Share Posted February 4, 2010 Just got off Solstice shows were 7 and 9 except on formal nights when they were 8 and 11. So would that mean that 2nd dinner seating shows were first except for formal nights?
