Time Change

Does anyone know if the ships change the times as it goes through each time zone? I have a few excursions asking the times we arrive and if it will be "local" time. They mention that some companies don't change they're times, they stay on east coast time

With some itineraries the ship does change time to correspond with the local time, other times it doesn't.

If you're booking excursions independently, so long as they're legitimate known companies, they'll know when the ship is to arrive at port, and will be there to meet you, whatever time it is!

Just make sure you know what time it is when you leave the ship -- and know what time you are supposed to be back on board (at least 30 minutes before the ship is to sail to the next port!)

I think that you can count on the times that NCL quotes in your itinerary are "local" times. Whether or not the ship changes time while on board, doesn't make any difference to the local tour operators. While on board, you will be notified of any time change issues.

Always be aware of the ship's time and the local time in the ports. They sometimes will not be the same. We had that issue in Acapulco with a difference between the two.

You do not want to watch the ship sail away without you.
