Fhorchu Posted February 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2010 First time cruising with Celebrity on Xpedition in March, we are Diamond Plus Members with RCCL and have been given Elite status to Captains Club with Celebrity, however when checking with Celebrity in the UK we have been told that Membership Cards are no longer given - not a major issue but a 'nice to have'... read on another site that if the Card is presented at Quito JW Marriott an upgrade to an Executive Room or access to the Executive Lounge is given - not sure which?? Celebrity UK say they know nothing of this - any info anyone ????
ocngypz Posted February 5, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2010 If you are booked on Xpeditons and are at Elite Level with Celebrity, your room is automatically upgraded by Celebrity if one is available. It has nothing to do with the Quito JW Marriott. Of course, the upgraded room is always subject to availability.

Doughnut Dolly Posted February 5, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2010 I still have my old Captains Club card, I never get rid of anything. Maybe that will give me some brownie points when we check in at the port, either that or we will look like some old fossils with the card. Heh! Heh! mike14c Posted February 5, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 5, 2010 Just FYI...I sailed on Celebrity a million years ago (Horizon and Galaxy!), but am booked on Solstice next month. I thought "I wonder if I still have a Captain's Club membership?," so, more on a lark than anything else, I called to see. Sure enough, they still had me in the database after nearly 20 years! I got my number, and the CC's representative very clearly said they would send me out a new card. Maybe she misspoke, but she confirmed my address, etc. for a mailing. I'll let you know if I get one. Oh, I think you'll get mail. I see plenty of brochures in your future. I'm not sure you'll get a card.
Cindy G Posted February 6, 2010 #8 Share Posted February 6, 2010 I still have my membership cards (four to them for the different levels), luggage tags and Captain's Club pin. We joined in 1994, back in the old days when it cost $25.00 to join. I wish Celebrity would bring those things back even if there was a cost. celem Posted February 7, 2010 #9 Share Posted February 7, 2010 Membership level is simply printed on your sea-pass card. See the attachment.
