Does balcony door remain open?

Hi everyone, On my last cruise I brought a small bungie cord to hold the balcony door open and it was a godsend. I am assuming that the doors on Oasis balconies are the same...slam shut when you let go of them! Am I right?

No problem keeping mine open....same on Freedom class.

I'm one to leave my door open to be lulled by the sound of the waves. On our Oasis cruise, we couldn't do this. The AC automatically shuts off if the door is open. Our cabin got incredibly warm VERY QUICKLY. We found that we had to keep the door shut in order to keep the room comfortable :(

The Oasis has sliders. No issue with doors slamming.

Freedom class is the same. A few weeks ago on Liberty I was shocked when I heard myself, I suddenly sounded like my mother- "Shut the door!"
