East Coast - Hope everyone got out in time for their cruise

I know that weather has been bad and hope everyone got out for their cruise. Leaving in a couple weeks and DID NOT buy insurance. But we always go in the day before

Explorer left on Friday a few hours before the snow even started. :)

Bayonne barely had any snow anyway. Just a couple of inches at most. It was South Jersey that had a substantial amount of snow.

Snow sure seems to have hit or missed areas mostly South of NY...lots of folks stuck at home, but at least those in the Bayone area are off the hook...although I thought I heard there was no cruise this weekend as the ship is on the way back from the Caribbean.

I have a friend who was leaving today on the Pride from Baltimore. I sure hope she made it. They had 26 inches of snow in Baltimore this weekend!

I would be relunctant to book a cruise out of NJ during the winter. We live in So Calif, so would head for FL for embarking.

If anyone had flights out to Miami that may have been another story.

I live in Annapolis and anyone flying into Balt on either Sat or Sun would have been S.O.L. :( BWI was closed Sat and Sunday. It's a good thing Explorer left Friday!
