I was thinking about going to Pinel Inlet for the day in April. If I rented a car and drove to cul de sac, can I leave the rented car there near the ferry? And how far is the ferry from cruise port? Thanks

Yes. See the pics in this thread. Not the best shot for what you want but there is a large parking area near these vendors.
