Braulio Carrillo National Park VS Verguaga

I know from research that the national park is much further away from Puerto Limon. I also know that there are paths and a Aerial Tram which is 80 minutes long. I know that Verguaga is an hour away and is a educational area with paths through the rainforest and a 10 minute aerial tram.

Besides that info.... which would you pick if you had 7 hours ( in port from 9 -6 and want to be safely back). Also some people in our group want to do white water rafting .... can this be done from the same tour bus and just be dropped off and then continue to the other and then come back for the other group? How far is the rafting from each rainforest site?
