Hotel near Rome Airport

We may have to stay a night in Rome after our Royal Clipper sail to catch flight home the next day. Any recomendations for hotel near the airport. May want to go into the city so rail or other transport may be of interest. (We are spending several days in Rome prior to the sail)

You will probably find more recommendations under the Ports of Call Boards. We stayed at the Airport Hilton (not the Hilton Garden Inn) which is adjacent to FCO the night before our flight. It is not as nice as most other Hilton Hotels we have stayed at however it is clean and convenient.

(We stayed at the Hilton Cavalieri the night before which may have coloured our perception. :o).

 

They do offer a shuttle service into Rome and I believe their shuttle schedule is on their website.
