A question for Carnival Cruisers

Does anyone know a Car Rental Place that is the closest to the Cruise Port in New York City? If we wanted to rent a car when we return from our cruise where is the closest Care Rental place near the Cruise Terminal.

Use Yahoo maps and have them put the icons for car rental on the Port map. That should help you get an idea. That's how we found a car in Long Beach.

Joe, post this question on the East Coast Departures board. I just did a search and only came up with one thread. Could be because most do not rent cars in Manhattan. You will probably be asked why you want to rent a car and where you'll be taking it. Manhattan is a walking, taxi, bus, subway city, if you've never been.

Posters megr, 138east and smeyer will most likely provide you with some answers. I'm very familiar with Manhattan, but know nothing about rental companies there. Good luck. ;)
