Disembarkation at San Pedro question

On previous cruises and other cruise lines we carried our own luggage off the ship and to a taxi (depending on port, of course). We will be on the Mariner and still plan on carrying off our own luggage, but I know we will also need to clear customs. We purchased transfers back to LAX with RCCL as well. Our flight home is at 1pm. Can anyone tell me what all to expect on our disembarkation, i.e. wait time for customs, how often bus leaves, etc. ? Thanks....

There is an occasional delay with customs trying to clear non US citizens but we have never experienced a major delay. You can walk off the ship with luggage and walk right to the exit where a customs agent will take your declaration slip and you keep on walking a very easy process. Not sure when the buses leave.
