yst347 Posted February 14, 2010 #31 Share Posted February 14, 2010 Norfork Lake in Mountain Home Arkansas has some good ones.:o Is it better to book through Carnival or with an independent or can we just go on our own? Will my G4 work, will I have roaming charges? If I buy a beer for my 20 year-old daughter will I be tossed in the brig? What language do most people speak there? Will they accept dollars? Is one side of the lake smoking and the other side non-smoking? This place looks really nice. We would like to know more before we book. TIA :D
gaylensgigi Posted February 14, 2010 #32 Share Posted February 14, 2010 Tortola hands down with Jolly Beach, Antiga running a very close second. In Tortola, Gary on the Kuralu has an excellent day sail,.we went to Sandy Spit, and we were the only 12 people on the island. Then on to Jost Van Dyke. The most beautiful beach ever.If you are ever in Tortola check out Gary. You will have a mst unforgettable day:D
Krissta Posted February 14, 2010 #33 Share Posted February 14, 2010 Anddddd another vote for Trunk Bay in St. John. We're taking the same cruise as you in less than two weeks. Whenever we go to St. Thomas, it always means hopping the ferry and going to St. John to visit the most picturesque and beautiful beach I have ever set foot on. So psyched!! :D
