Guaranteed category?

Looking at Costa Romantica Far East I see the cheapest cabin is the "Guaranteed category". Can anyone tell me what this means and what we are likely to get?

it means you are guaranteed a minimum of the category you book. you have no choice in which cabin you get and you may not find out which cabin you are in until you board the ship.

i've booked gtys many times. sometimes it works out great and i get an upgrade. other times i got the worst cabin in that category.

if you are at all picky or cannot take not knowing which cabin you have, DO NOT BOOK A GTY.
