NCL Kids Club Backpack?

NEcruisers????

I think only you can decide if they're worth the money. We picked one up on our last cruise, though. The backpack is improved and is actually a useful size and style now (the old ones were really small and bright primary colours that were more suited to younger children). They include a pair of pretty nice sunglasses, a drink wristband, a plastic drinking cup, a very nice tee shirt that has an arrow pointing up and says 'this is the face of a kid having fun' (my daughter was wearing hers Wednesday, so it's definitely a cute shirt), and a ball cap. If your child drinks soda, it's definitely worth the small difference between just a drink bracelet and the backpack. You can wait until you're on board to order one, though, so you don't have to spend the money until you can see it for yourself. :)

Do you recall the price of the backpacks?

Yes, on the NCL website they are priced at:

3-day cruise package $30.504-day cruise package $33.007-day cruise package $39.50

I think that even for just te backpack and the t-shirt alone, not to mention the drink band, it is worth the $$.:)

Thanks for the replies!

Are they too young for a 10 year old? We had gotten the kids, when they were younger, the old style and agree that this was geared mostly for younger kids. The backpack was very small, and never really used afterwards by the kids. We had preordered them, if we were to get them on the ship, where do we purchase them? I had read some where that if the shirts do not fit, you could bring them to the kids club and they would exchange the tshirt for a larger size.

Thanks for the inof
