I'm cruising on Disney Cruiseline next summer (2011) and was wondering if anyone had done an excurion to Portofino and Santa Margherita? I'm sure the excursions on all cruiselines are similar, so I was just wondering if anyone has done an excursions to Portofino & Santa Margherita? I think we'd like to try this excursion instead of going to Florence/Pisa.

Any info would be much appreciated!

We did them on our own and absolutely loved both places. So different from Florence and Pisa, which were very crowded and touristy.Enjoyed them, of course, but Portofino small and more laid back. Can just wander town, eat in port area, window shop, stroll up to famous church on hill for great view,etc...then Cinque Terre area so quaint,we took the train and strolled a few of the towns.....Both excursions would be wonderful, its Italy, right? Just have to chose which is right for you....have a great time.:)
